Liz Watkins

Born in Indiana, raised in Delaware, singer-songwriter Liz Watkins blends jazz, bossa nova, country, and pop into an eclectic sound shaped by years of international touring and deep musical curiosity. Her performances move effortlessly from breezy rhythms to soulful storytelling, often peppered with last-minute surprises on the setlist.

A self-taught guitarist with influences ranging from Jobim to James Taylor, Liz writes with lyrical warmth and emotional precision, exploring themes of identity, place, and love.

Her latest single, "Wife of a Cowboy," dropped in January 2025, shortly after she earned a coveted opening slot for Loudon Wainwright by winning the Taylor Made at Uptown Knauer Singer-Songwriter Contest.
